Paneer Tikka Recipe / Paneer Tikka Made In Tawa


Paneer Tikka is one of the most popular authentic recipe version in all over india... Usually the delicious and juicy tikka recipe is made in the oven but for a change, the veggies are cut into squares and they are marinate along with paneer are cooked in tawa and they are arranged in skewers. It turns out pretty good and result was amazing and delicious one..


This paneer tikka is so healthy for your kids and toddlers as well... Paneer, onion, capsicum, tomato are mix with tikka masala, and they are marinated for 4 to 5 hours... which make the recipe yummy and finger licking one...

INGREDIENTS :

Paneer / Cottage Cheese - 150 grams
Capsicum / Bell pepper - 1/2 cup (cut them in cubes)
Onion - 1 (cut them in cubes)
Tomato- 2 (sliced into round)

FOR MARINATE :

Curd - 3 tbspn
Chilli powder - 1 tspn
Amchoor Powder - 1/2 tspn
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tspn
Garam Masala powder - 1/2 cup
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tspn
Lemon - 1/2 (extract the juice)
Gram flour - 2 tbspn
Oregano - 1/2 tspn
Salt - as needed
Butter - for frying

METHOD :

  • Slice the paneer, onion, capsicum, tomato into slices and keep aside..
  • Mix all the ingredients in the list under " TO MARINATE", in a mixing bowl..
  • Add in veggies and mix gently and marinate for 4 hours..
  • Heat a tawa with some butter and place the pieces on the tawa..
  • Fry them in low flame, till they done..
  • I make it in 2 batches, so thry cook evenly and texture is better..
  • Cook them on both sides till brown..
  • Then take your skewer and skewer the veggies..
  • Brush it with some butter on the top and serve hot..
  • Enjoy..


PICTORIAL :


First prepare the veggies, cut like this
Take curd in a bowl
Add in chilli powder and amchoor powder
Add in turmeric powder and garam masala powder
A spoon full of oregano
Add in ginger garlic paste
Add in gram flour
Squeeze some lemon juice
Mix it well
Now done, it is a correct consistency
Add in veggies one by one
Mix well
Add in sliced tomato
Add in salt
Mix it well
Add in paneer pieces
Mix it evenly
Heat a pan with butter
Place them in hot tawa
Flip it to cook another side
Now they are done with in20 mins
Skewer the veggies one by one
Let start to skewer all veggies
Repeat for the rest for the veggies
