Linzer cookies are mightly look like another beautiful sandwich cookies... I make this cookies for my dessert table themed Kids colections for my friend's son and daughter birthday function... I prepare whole things in my kitchen to fill the birthday table...


It turns sucessfully and every one enjoyed it and order me more birthday events.. So I plan to Started a New business in my area and named it as Vani's Creative Events... Preparation Time : 10 mins
Chilling Time : 2 hours
Baking Time : 10 to 15 mins
Makes - 15 to 20 cookies

INGREDIENTS :

Soft unsalted butter - 3/4 cup / 175 grams
Sugar - 1 cup / 200 grams
All purpose flour / Maida - 3 cups / 360 grams
Vanilla essence - 2 tspn
Egg - 2
Baking Powder - 1/2 tspn
Salt - 1/4 tspn
Jam - as needed (I use blueberry)
Powdered sugar / Confectioners Sugar - 4 tbspn

MY 1 CUP MEASURES - 240ML

METHOD :

  • Take butter, suagr, vanilla in a mixing bowl, whit till creamy..
  • Now add in one egg at a time and whip till soft...
  • Again add in another egg and whit till creamy..
  • Add in flour, salt, baking powder and whip it again to form a soft dough..
  • Now wrap this in a plastic and chill this for a couple of hour..
  • Once the dough is chilled.. Cut this into half..
  • Now preheat oven to 180 degree C..
  • Roll this into a thin circle.. Use the cookie cutter to cut it out..
  • Now cut it out some of the round circle to create a window pattern through which the jam can show when they sandwiches..
  • Arrange it in a parchment paper baking tray..
  • Bake for 12 to 15 mins, in preheated oven..
  • Now remove it from oven and cool it completely..
  • Now take the top holed cookies and sprinkle with powdered sugar..
  • Then take the whole cookies and arrange it bottom side up on plate and spoon some jam..
  • Now sandwich the cookies together..
  • Serve it..

PICTORIAL :

Take all your ingredients
Take soft butter in a mixing bowl
Add in sugar
Add some vanilla essence
Let's whip it
Till it became soft 
At a time add one egg
Whit till fluffy
Scrap the sides and add in another egg
Whip till they became soft
Now it's done
Add in flour
Good amount of salt and baking powder
Mix it well
Knead well to form a smooth dough
Spread sheet of plastic wrap
Place the dough in
Wrap it well 
Chill this for a couple of time
Take half of the dough
Roll them in circle
Dip the cutter in flour and cut out cookies
You shape as per your wish
Now all are done
Remove the extract and 
Hole this cookies in center with nossle
Now all are done, lined in baking tray
Bake it for 15 to 20 mins
Remove it and cool completely
Now take the these cookies in a tray
Dust it with powdered sugar, keep aside
Now take bottom cookies
Flip it over, so the bottom comes up
Take blueberry jam , spoon it over and spread lightly
All are done
Sandwich them with prepared cookies
Now they are ready for the party
Delicious and yummy
