Carrot And Cucumber Raita


Carrot cucumber raita is very simple and easy recipe.. This raita dehydrates body and replenishes daily vitamins.. But this is the delicious raita have directly with rice or roti.. I serve this with my ghee roasted bread, but you can serve with rotis, briyani or for dip.. 


Roasted chilli powder and cumin powder gives a extra kick to the raita... It is very good for health... So I hope that you must try this recipe and let me know it's turns out from you...

INGREDIENTS :

Cucumber - 1 (large, peel the skin & grated)
Carrot - 1 (large, peel the skin and grated)
Fresh coriander leaves - few (chopped)
Thick yogurt - 1 cup
Roasted cumin powder - 1/4 tspn
Rosted chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
Salt - as needed

METHOD :

  • Prepare all the ingredients ready..
  • Now in a mixing bowl add all the ingredients except chilli power..
  • Mix well and check for the salt..
  • Transfer them into a serving bowl..
  • Sprinkle some rosted chilli powder and serve immediately..
  • Enjoy...

Take all the ingredients 
Grated the carrot and cucumber
In a mixing bowl add in carrot and cucumber
Add in chopped coriander
Add in thick yogurt
Add in salt
Add in roasted cumin powder
Mix it evenly
Transfer them to a bowl
Sprinkle some roasted chilli powder
Serve cool
