Veg Fried Rice / Indian Style Fried Rice


Veg fried rice is one of the favourite indo chinese recipe.. Whenever we order an indo chinese menu then the fried rice is always there.. along with that we usually order different indo chinese vegetables recipes or snacks... However vegetable fried rice has always stayed permantent in our choice of menu for indo chinese take aways or in restaurants..



We have prepared this vegetable fried rice as indian style, so that the flavour of the vegetables are enhanced.. you can also serve with veg or non veg gravies.. which have already posted in my blog.....

This recipe so simple Only to do is cut the veggie finely.. its very flavour ful but a quick fix, you can try this for Lunchbox too with rich gravy... So I hope that you must try thi srecipe and let me know how it's turns out from you...

INGREDIENTS :

Basmati rice : 1 cup (boiled and drained)
Garlic - 2 tbspn (chopped finely)
Onion - 1 (chopped )
Capsicum - 2 tbspn (chopped )
Carrot - 1 (chopped )
Beans - 6 (chopped )
Cabbage - 5 tbspn (chopped )
Salt - as needed
Pepper powder - 1 tspn
Butter - 2 tbspn
Spring onion - 4 sprig

METHOD :

  • Cook the rice with 1 & 1/2 cup of water and sererate the grains.. keep aside..
  • Heat a pan with some butter and add in garlic an dtoss well.
  • Now add in chopped onions and toss till transparent..
  • Now add in carrot, cabbage, beans an dcapsicum and toss well along with the onions..
  • Add in pepper powdr and salt..
  • Toss till the veggies are cooked and add in cooked rice..
  • Stir till it gets heated up and combain with the veggies..
  • Add in chopped spring onions to garnish..
  • Serve hot and enjoy...


PICTORIAL :



Prepare your veggies
Cooked the rice, so that the grains are seperates
Heat a pan with butter
Add in chopped garlic
Then add in chopped onion
Toss till transparent
Add in carrot, beans, cabbage and capsicum
Toss well along with onions
Now add in salt and pepper
Stir till the veggies are cooked
Add in cooked rice
Mix evenly
Add in some chopped spring onion 
Serve hot
