Pepper mushroom


This is a dish that is dedicated to all those people who love mushroom like I do.. Mushroom is one of my favourite vegetable.. It look like a kind of yukky when bought, But once you cook it, it is absolutely yummy. This dish can be finished within 10 mins. It should be cooked in highest heat, because if you cook it in slow flame the mushroom will leach out its water and it will became mushy.




It is so simple... It has a nice peppery taste to it. It can be served with hot paratha or chappathi. It is absolutely delicious. And don't forget to check my other mushroom recipes in my blog...

Preparation time : 10 mins
Cooking time : 15 mins
Serve - 2

INGREDIENTS :

Mushroom - 1 (pocket cleaned and cut it into cubes)
Onion - 1 (sliced)
Green chilli - 3 (sliced)
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbspn
Pepper powder - 1 tbspn
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Roasted cumin powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt - as needed
Coriander / mint leaves - few (chopped)
Butter - 2 6tbspn

METHOD :


  • In a frying pan add butter allow to melt, Then add in ginger garlic paste and toss well for 1 min.
  • Now add in sliced onion, green chillies and mushroom, saute well for 2 mins...
  • Then add in salt and stir fry for 3 mins on high flame..
  • Now add in pepper powder, roasted cumin powder, garam masala powder and give it a quick stir. 
  • Garnish with coriander and mint leaves and mix till everything is combained untill the mushroom cooked. 
  • Now pepper mushroom is ready to serve with hot chapathi ... 


PICTORIAL :

Take your ingredients..
Add butter to your pan
Ginger garlic paste
Mix well
Add in sliced onion and chillies
Mix lightly
Add mushrooms
Mix well
Now add in salt
Pepper powder
Garam masala
Roasted cumin powder
Garnish with coriander and mint leaves
Cooked till mushroom became nice sear
Done
