Coriander Podi Uttapam



Coriander podi uttapam is one regular thing in my kitchen, I grind batter once in a week and make idly for 2 days and uttapam for 1 day. My son plain podi uttapam but i used some fresh coriander to make flavour full. The podi is some more different and from the ellu podi, Usually we allways use small onion uttapam but it is some more different like in murugan idli kadai.

Preparation time : 10 mins
Cooking time : 7 - 8 mins
Serve - 4

INGREDIENTS :

Idli / dosai batter - Click this post
Idli podi - Click this post
Chopped fresh coriander - 1 bunch
Oil - 2 tsp per uttapam

METHOD :

  • Finely chopped fresh coriander leaves and keep aside.
  • Then ready your idli milagai podi and keep aside.
  • Spoon 1 or 1 1/2 ladle full of the batter in hot greased dosa pan.
  • Now sprinkled generously the chopped fresh coriander leaves fully covering the top. 
  • You can add a few drops of ghee or oil if desired. cook in medium flame.
  • After a min or two, flip the uttapam and cook in low flame for 2 mins or untill the uttapam gets golden brown and crisp.
  • Now it's ready to serve as it is or with coconut chutney.

PICTORIAL :

Take your ingredients
A spoon of batter in a heat tawa and make thick circle
Sprinkle some idli podi on it
Some oil
Again sprinkled some fresh coriander on it 
After 2 mins flip it 
Now it's ready  
Serve hot
