Mysore Dosa


Preparation time: 10 mins
Cooking time : 5 mins (per dosa)
Serve : 3 to 4

INGREDIENTS :

Home made dosa batter - as needed 

FOR RED CHUTNEY :

Coconut - 1/4 cup
Channa dal / kadalai paruppu - 1 tbspn
Urad dal - 1 tbspn
Red chilli powder - 1 spn
Garlic - 1 fat clove
Red chilli - 4
Tamarind - 1 tbspn
Salt - as needed
Sugar - as needed
Oil - 1 tbspn

METHOD :

  • Let's start by making red chutney. Heat 1 abspn of oil in a pan. 
  • Add in channa dal, urad dal, red chilli . Mix this untill it get's till brown.
  • Now add in cococnut, chilli powder, garlic, tamarind, and mix it once.
  • Add in sugar and salt and mix well.
  • Turn off the heat and out in  the blender and make it in to fine paste.
  • Now the red chutney is ready then now we make the dosa.
  • Heat tha dosa tawa and make thin dosa on it spread some oil to that.
  • Now it's cooked turn the dosa and cook another part too.
  • Now the dosa is done in the same dosa add a tspn of the red chutney over the dosa and spread it evenly...
  • Add some more oilto the dosa to get crispy. Fold in half and serve
  • You can serve as it is .......
  • Click idli, dosa batter to view.

PICTORIAL :

Take all ur ingredients
Heat oil
Add in channa dal, urad dal
Red chilli
Mix untill it get brown
Now coconut 
Red chilli powder
Add a garlic
Tamarind
Salt
Sugar
Mix ever thing together
Add into the blender
Make it into a paste
Make dosa 
Add some oil
Turn the dosa and cook both side
Now again turn it..
Add the chutney
Spread it evenly and also add oil to that for it's crispy
Fold it
Now it's ready
Serve

I loved it very much ..... This dosa got it special taste for it's crispyness and the red chuney which is on the top. It is one of the famous dish in mysore . They may use lot of chilli in the red chuney but for our taste i use only four. Try this recipe at home and let me comment how it is.................
