Garlic Naan Recipe


It is my son favourite dish. It is very soft and taste with the butter chicken is really awesome. So try this recipe exatly this way, it is better than the tawa toasting... Naan are popular leavened bread of exquisite taste cooked in a tandoor type. Usually these are made in restaurants but i prepared it in easy way. 


So I hope that you must try this recipe and let me know it's turns out from you...

Preparation time : 20 mins
Resting time : 1 hour
Cooking time : 2 mins

INGREDIENTS:

All purpose flour / maida - 3 cups
Yogurt - 1 cup
Milk - 1 cup
Oil - 3 tbspn
Garlic - 10 cloves
Salt - to taste
Baking soda - 1 tsp
Sugar - 2 tsp
Water if needed

FOR BRUSHING :

Butter - 50 grms

METHOD :

  • Take curd, milk, b.soda, sugar, salt ..mix well. set aside.
  • Take garlic cloves in a blender and grind into coarse form.
  • Take flour, garlic oil in a bowl and rud with your hands.
  • And add the milk mixture to that and knead it to a soft dough. 
  • Let it rest for 1 1/2 hours. after that roll the dough into equal balls.
  • Heat a tawa till hot. wet the top of the naan with water and flip the water side down into the tawa. 
  • Invert the tawa over direct flame and let it cook till you see black spots on it.
  • Now Brush it with some butter. and servehot with butter chicken masala.

PICTORIAL :

Take all ingredients
Add in curd in a bowl
Add in milk
Add in sugar
Baking soda
Add some salt
And mix well and set aside
Take cloves in a blender and blend it
Take flour in a bowl 
Add crushed garlic and oil (i forgot to take pic)
Rub with your hands
Add in milk mix
Knead for 5 mins
Knead it into soft dough
Cover and let it rest
Roll into equal portions
Rub the roll in the flour
Roll it
Dip your finger in the water
Spread it all over the naan
Place the wet side on the tawa
Ready your butter
When it's puffs up  invert it
On the direct flame
Now brush it with butter
Transfer them to a serving plate
 Serve hot
