Sweet Corn Pulao


Preparation time : 15 mins
Cooking time : 20 mins
Serve - 4

INGREDIENTS :

Basmati rice - 2 cups
Sweet corn - 1 cup (frozen)
Milk - 1/2 cup
Mint leaves - few (chopped)
Coriander leaves - few (chopped)
Salt - to taste

TO GRIND :

Garlic - 4 cloves
Ginger - 5 small pieces
Pepper - 1 tspn
Cinnamon - 1 small stick
Cloves - 2
Cashew - 8 - 9 nos

TO TEMPER :

Butter - 25 grams
Cinnamon sticks - 2 small sticks
Onion -1 (sliced)
Capsicum - 1/2 (sliced)
Green chilli - 2 (slit)

METHOD :

  • I used frozen corn, if you are using fresh corn, first separates the kernels.Wash and keep aside.
  • Soak the rice for atleast 20 mins. Grind the items under " TO GRIND" table with little water to a smooth paste.
  • Heat a pressure cooker with butter and temper items one by one.
  • And then add coriander leaves, ground paste and fry it for 2 mins, let the raw smell is go away.
  • Add in corn, soaked rice and mix it in the butter and pour the milk on it.
  • Reduce the flame to cook whistled it for 3 - 5 mins.
  • Now popen it and fluff the rice with the fork.
  • The corn pulao is ready.
  • Enjoy

PICTORIAL :

 Grind items
 Add to the blender
Into paste
 Take your ingredients
Add butter
 Cinnamon
 Chilli 
 Capsicum
 Then onions
 Toss well it in the oil
 Add coriander
 Add in masala
 Add in corn
 Then soaked rice
 Mix all it in the butter
 Add salt
Add in milk
 Mix well
 Now whistled for 3 to 5
 Open it
 Fluff the rice with fork.
 Serve

It is a simple recipe and delicious dish we can made this for lunch box tooo....I done it first and it comes out very well. It is match with spicy sidedish and enjoy it very well. And try this............
