Butter Chicken Masala - Restaurant Style


Butter chicken masala is a chicken curry in tomato based gravy, is extremely popular in india especially restaurants. It is a better side dish for naan, paratta, and chapathi, etc... It is a mild flavour gravy and deliciously rich tomato gravy.. The main think is dry fenugreek leaves give aromatic flavour to the recipe.ANd also adding fresh cream to the gravy gives sweetness and little bit tangy while having this gravy...

Preparation time : 15 mins
Cooking time : 20 mins
Serve - 4

INGREDIENTS :

Chicken - 1/2 kg (boneless)
Tomato puree - 2 cup
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Green chilli - 3 (sliced)
Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
Instant butter chicken masala - 2 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tspn
Fresh cream - 1/2 cup
Corn flour - 1 tbsp
Butter - 5 tspn
Salt - to taste
Coriander leaves - few

METHOD :

  • Marinate the cut chicken pieces in corn starch, chilli powder, lemon juice, and some salt.
  • In a kadai add butter and put in the chichen pieces and just sear the chicken pieces till it is pink in colour and remove it and set aside.
  • Melted butter in the same kadai and add chilli and ginger garlic paste.
  • Pour in the tomato puree and mix well, put in the instant butter masala and cook untill oil separates from it.
  • Add salt, add in the chicken pieces with osme water and cover and cook till the chicken is completely done.
  • Now  add in the fresh cream and mix well and switch off the flame.
  • Add in the rest of the butter and garnish with coriander leaves.

Marinate items
Mix chicken with marinate
Evenly
Add butter 
Add in marinated chicken
Sear the chicken in the butter 
When its colour change 
Transfer into a bowl and keep aside
Take your ingredients
Add in butter in the same kadai
Add in chilli
Ginger garlic paste
Add in tomato puree
Mix it
Add butter chicken masala
Add in chicken pieces...
Cook untill oil separates
Add in coriander leaves
Now add fresh cream and off the stove
Now it's ready
Serve
In top add fresh cream and butter

Butter chicken masala is my favorite dish. Each one have their way to make butter chicken masala, but i didn't use onions in it...only i use tomato puree. It is very quick and simple dish and delicious, to have it with naan. So please try it ......and comment about the recipe.......
