Veg Pulao / Mixed Vegatable Pulao




Veg Pulao is a easy dish made within 20 mins as like as fried rice.. Usually in pulaos the rice is cooked in milk along with the vegetables but here with little variations the rice is cooked first and added to the vegetable mixture.. But the texture of the rice is nice and delicious with the simple raita and cucumber slices..

INGREDIENTS :

Onion - 2 (finaly chopped)
Capsicum - 1 (finaly chopped)
Carrot - 2 (finaly chopped)
Beans -10 (finaly chopped)
Ginger garlic paste - 2 spn
Fennel seeds -1 tsp
Pepper powder - 2 spn
Salt - as needed
Butter - 25 gms
Coriander seeds - as needed

FOR COOKING RICE :

Basmathi rice - 1 cup (soak it for 1/2 hour)
Cinamom - 2 sticks
Salt - 1 spn
Water - 3 cup
Coconut oil - 1 1/2 spn

METHOD :


  • First begin with the rice, take rice in a bowl and soaked it for 1/2 hour. 
  • Heat a pan with water, add cinamom, salt and coconut oil let them to boil.
  • Now add in soaked rice and cook them till they are 98 percent done.
  • When you taste it, it should have a little bite to it.. and drain it and set aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan which you are making pulao.
  • Add in fennal seeds, ginger garlic paste toss it well.
  • Now add chopped onions, capsicum, cutted veggies toss well, until the veggies cooked.
  • Along with that add salt, pepper powder, and coriander leaves.
  • Now the cooked rice to it and mix evenly.
  • Now the veg pulao is ready to serve. Enjoyed it.....
  • I serve it with onion capsicum gopi fry.

PICTORIAL :


Take ingredients to prepare rice
In a bowl add water
Add cinamom
In salt
Add coconut oil in and let them to boil
Add in the soaked rice
When you taste it, it should have a little bite to it....
Drain them
Take ur ingredients
Add in butter
Fennel seeds
Add in ginger garlic
Add in chopped onions
Capsicum
Add in cutted veggies
Then salt
Pepper powder
Sprinkled some chopped coriander
Now the rice over it
Fluff the rice untill it mix
It's ready to plated
Serve hot with sliced cucumber

Chocolate Pudding


Try this quick creamy chocolate pudding and serve to your kids they really loved it.. Chocolate puding are a class of desserts with creamy chocolate flavour... It best for a treat or a party to suprise our guest. My son's favourite recipe, he often ask me to prepare this in after he return from school..


Yummy chocolate pudding is ready to serve, I thought of doing this in last week, but it got skipped always.. today was the day and finaly made it and tasted my first spoon it makes so chocolatey and rich totally delicious.... so try this at your home and your kids really enjoyed it !!!!

INGREDIENTS :

Milk - 200 ml / 1 cup
Cocoa powder - 2 tbspn
Sugar - 2 tbspn
Salt - 1 pinch
Corn starch - 2 tbspn
Sugar balls - (silver) as needed

METHOD :

  • In a bowl add corn starch, cocoa powder, salt mix gentle with the spoon.
  • Once mix add sugar to that and again mix well
  • Pour the milk in, mix slowly so that no lumps to formed ( if you afraid add milk slowly).
  • It will take 5 mins to make, then pour the mixture into the sauce pan.
  • Cooked this for a very low flame, and it will take a time to became thick.
  • Now take it off the heat and fill your cups with this.
  • Dust some sugar balls on top and decorate it as per your wish.
  • Put it in a fridge for a couple of hours and serve chilled.
  • Enjoy each spoonful of chocolaty goodness.

Take all your ingredients
In a bowl add corn flour
Cocoa powder
And salt
Mix it gentle
Then add sugar to that
Mix them gentle
Pour milk to that
Beat well untill it became smooth paste
Pour the mix to the sauce pan
Heat with low flame
Keep stirring it well 
Mix it till creamy
Can you see how thick it is
Now allow it to cool a bit
Take your glass cups
Flip it up
Decorate it as per your wish
Serve it with sugar balls

My Mom's Special - Veg Kurma For Chapathi


Here my mom's recipe with mixed vegetable kurma sidedish for chapathi and paratta.. Usually I prepared this gravy as a dinner for my chapathi recipes my hubby loved it, the masala paste by grinding coconut, ginger, garlic, onion, cashew makes the gravy rich taste.. So I hope that you must try this recipe and let me know it's turns out from you..

Preparation time : 10 mins
Cooking time : 20 mins
Serve : 4 to 5
Recipe Category - Sidedish for chapathi

INGREDIENTS :

Onion - 2 (chopped)
Tomato - 2(chopped)
Green chilli - 3 (sliced)
Carrot - 1/2 (cutted into slice)
Beans - 1/2 (chopped)
Peas - 1/2 cup
Cauli flower - 1/2 cup
Fennel seeds - 1/4 tsp
Coconut oil - 5 spn

SPICES :

Chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tspn
Coriander powder - 1/4 tspn
Cumin powder - 1 pinch

FOR GRAINDING :

Coconut - 1 cup
Small onions - 6
Cashew - 7
Garlic - 3
Ginger - 4 (pieces)

METHOD :

  • Grind the grinding things into fine paste and keep aside. And cut all verggies.
  • In a pressure cooker add oil, fennel seeds, chopped onions and green chilli toss well.
  • When it's lightly brown add all the spices to that, tomato, cutted verggies again toss them for 2 minutes.
  • Now add grinded masala too and some salt and water to cook.
  • Close the cooker and whistled it for 3.
  • After whistled open it and add coriander leaves and serve.
  • Now the vegetable kuruma is ready serve with chapathi, parotta.



PICTORIAL:

Take ur ingredients
All the spices
Add oil to the cooker
Fennel seeds
Then chopped onions, chilli
Now all spices
Tomatoes
Add in veggies
Take ingredients for grinding
Put into the blender
Grind into fine paste
Add to the cooker
Some water
Season with some salt
Close the cooker and whistled it for 3
Open the cooker
Add coriander leaves to that
Now the kuruma is ready
Serve it with chapathi
Enjoy..
